Tree-lined streets, manicured lawns and picture-perfect homes abound in Vollintine-Evergreen, a diverse and historic neighborhood adjacent to sprawling Overton Park in Midtown Memphis.

Outdoor recreation is treasured here and neighbors can often be found walking, jogging and biking the 1.7-mile V&E Greenline, a community-maintained trail that was built atop a disused railroad line.

Stretching more than 60 blocks, Vollintine-Evergreen is one of the largest Memphis neighborhoods on the National Register of Historic Places. Home to mostly 1920s and ‘30s-era homes as well as a few apartment buildings, the residential district boasts mature trees and expertly preserved Craftsman bungalows.

On the edge of the district’s southwest corner is Crosstown Concourse, an exciting mixed-use destination that’s just a short stroll away on Concourse Avenue. Here you’ll find The Curb Market, a local grocery store, plus Crosstown Brewing Co., Farm Burger and French Truck Coffee.
